Elijah Fisher has committed to Texas Tech, he announced on Thursday. The five-star recruit elected the Red Raiders over Memphis, Louisville, Missouri, Kentucky and the G-League. He is the highest recruited player in Texas Tech program history and is expected to reclassify to the class of 2022.

Fisher, 18, was born in Oshawa, Ontario. He attended Crestwood Preparatory College in Toronto where he played shooting guard. In eight games played during the 2021-22 Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association season, Fisher averaged 33.1 points, nine rebounds and 3.5 assists per game on 54.9 percent shooting from the field.
