Virginia Tech got its second commitment in the 2023 class when Jason Abbey, an edge rusher from Richmond, committed to the Hokies on Friday night. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Abbey plays for Freeman High, where he was a second-team all-region defender last fall after finishing with 89 tackles, 18 tackles for a loss and seven sacks.
