Coach K's grandson is leaving Duke, too.

Michael Savarino, a former walk-on who was on scholarship for Mike Kryzewski's final season in 2021-22, has entered the transfer portal, The Athletic confirmed on Tuesday. A 6-foot guard, Savarino spent three seasons in the Blue Devils' program, appearing in 13 games. Savarino, who recently won the NCAA's Elite 90 award (for best GPA on a finalist), plans to take summer classes at Duke to graduate, then move to a smaller school for more playing time.
