Texas added to its 2023 recruiting class on Saturday as three-star linebacker S’Maje Burrell announced his commitment to the Longhorns.

Burrell, a 6-foot, 215-pound prospect from North Crowley High in Fort Worth, Texas, is the third commitment in the Longhorns’ 2023 class. Burrell possessed offers from 27 schools, including Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, USC and every Big 12 school in the state of Texas.
