Baylor guard Kendall Brown is declaring for the 2022 NBA Draft, he announced on Wednesday. Brown, who is considered a potential first-round pick, is ranked 15th on The Athletic's most recent NBA Draft Big Board.

"After taking time speaking with my family and with my coaches, I have decided I will be entering my name into the 2022 NBA Draft," Brown said in a Twitter post, thanking Baylor for his time there. "I have always dreamt of playing in the NBA and I want to do everything I can to make that dream a reality this spring and summer."

In his sole season with the Bears, the freshman averaged 9.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and one steal in 34 games (all starts). He helped Baylor to a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament; however, the Bears' tournament run was cut short after they were upset by eighth-seeded North Carolina in the second round.
