Now that there is an update on Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, the team has no choice but to look at life without their leading scorer. After practice on Friday, Klay Thompson spoke to the media about the situation for the first time since the injury.

“We’ll have to pick up the slack and let Steph (Curry) get healthy,” Thompson told ClutchPoints. “That’s what’s most important is having him when the games on the line come playoff time.”

Curry injured his left foot against the Boston Celtics, which forced him to exit the game. Friday, the Warriors announced that Curry underwent an MRI after the loss against the Celtics. It revealed a sprained ligament in his left foot, and he will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
