Deion Sanders regularly gets linked to available Power 5 jobs when they become available. He has never really embraced them, but he hasn’t shied away from them either.
Sanders kept that up in a recent interview with “Thee Pregame Show,” where he admitted he hears the whispers about whether he will leave Jackson State. He gave a lengthy answer that did not really provide much clarity on the situation.
“I’m happy where I am. It’s a calling where I am,” Sanders said, via Zach Barnett of Football Scoop. “God didn’t give me a timetable. He said, ‘You’ve got to go be there for how long.’ He told me to do what (He) asked me to do and do it at a high level. Now, I don’t know the timetable for any of that, so I’m not going to tell anybody the timetable. I don’t know.
