Manchester United star Paul Pogba has revealed his "worst fears were realised" after his home was burgled during their Champions League exit at the hands of Atletico Madrid.
The French star released a statement detailing the horrific incident at his home, which took place whilst his two children, who he shares with wife Zulay, were sleeping at the property. The midfielder is now offering a reward for anyone able to provide information about the incident.
Pogba came off the bench as Manchester United were knocked out of the Champions League after a 1-0 defeat against Atletico Madrid. The incident took place towards the end of the game and Pogba and wife Zulay then rushed home to their property.
Pogba wrote on social media: "Last night our family's worst nightmare was realized when our home was broken into and burglarized while our babies were sleeping in their bedroom. The burglars were in our home for less than five minutes but in that time they took from us something more valuable than anything we had in our home… our sense of safety and security.
