The Los Angeles Clippers once again beat the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night, bringing their record to 31-31 while hurting the Lakers, who are now five games below the .500 mark.
The Purple and Gold keep struggling and this game showed that they didn't make big changes during the All-Star break. They looked like the same team, having difficulties making decisions, not playing like a well-oiled machine, and pretty much just waiting for what LeBron James can do on the court.
Not even the Clippers were worried about it, as their head coach revealed. Tyronn Lue dismissed the Lakers' level after the game, explaining that his team didn't even prepare for the 17-time NBA champion; they just worked on themselves.
“We didn’t even prepare for them,” he said. “We just basically worked on ourselves, our small-ball lineup, the things we needed to get better at.
