Last fall before ever stepping foot on campus, 247Sports four-star quarterback Brayden Dorman said the Oregon State Beavers “have all of the boxes checked,” but he wanted to see it in person.

Following that November trip, the nation’s No. 13 signal-caller openly contemplated shutting down his recruitment for good with a quick announcement – one that would have gone in Oregon State’s favor.

Instead, Dorman kept his options open, considering Arizona, California, Iowa State, Mississippi State and others.
