Some NBA teams find success during a season and others do not, that is the nature of the sport! 

The one common factor year-in and year-out though is that while the players may catch some of the blame on a bad season, the head coach is always the first one to take full responsibility for the lack of success during a season or during their tenure. 

While you hate to see anybody lose their job, sometimes a change in leadership is necessary for a team to either reach their full potential or to finally start winning games again.

Over the last several years, we have seen plenty of coaching changes that have happened that have really helped some organizations go from being middle-of-the-pack or low-end teams to being some of the best in the league. 

Steve Kerr won the NBA Finals with the Warriors in his first season with Golden State and since he became the Warriors head coach, he has posted a 418-188 record with the team, the most wins by a head coach since 2015. In Phoenix, the Suns have gone from a bottom-tier franchise to being the best in the league the last two seasons with Monty Williams.

Currently 48-10 on the season, the Suns are well on their way to owning the league’s best record and will be looking to make it to back-to-back NBA Finals in search of their first championship ever. 

Coaching changes are a big part of any NBA offseason and this upcoming offseason, there could be a few changes being made league-wide. With that said, let’s take a look at 3 head coaches who may currently find themselves on the “hot seat."

All the blame for the Lakers’ misfortunes this season cannot be put on Frank Vogel, as the front office deserves a ton of blame for the bad roster they have assembled, but Vogel has made some questionable decisions all year long.
