The father of Spencer Rattler went on Twitter Friday to set the record straight about his son.

Rattler played at Oklahoma from 2019-2021 but was replaced by Caleb Williams as the Sooners’ starting quarterback last season. Rattler ended up leaving as a transfer. He initially had interest in transferring to Arizona State, but the Sun Devils declined his interest due to their commitment to Jayden Daniels, who indicated he was returning for 2022.

This week, Daniels opted to transfer, which has ASU fans upset because they missed out on Rattler.
