Michigan offensive coordinator Josh Gattis made the surprise decision to leave for the same position with the Miami Hurricanes. He gave a hint as to why in a message to the team on the way out.
Gattis, the reigning Broyles Award winner as the nation’s top assistant, unexpectedly jumped to Miami on Sunday to become the Hurricanes’ new offensive coordinator. In his farewell message to Michigan players, Gattis hinted at dissatisfaction with the university administration and suggested that he was not valued by the school.
