Buffalo Bills wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has a Super Bowl ring to prove he knows what it takes in the playoffs.
It’s mid-postseason run right now and the Bills brought on Sanders this past offseason for his veteran leadership he can provide in moments like this.
Sanders and his teammates in Buffalo are prepping for a trip to Kansas City in the AFC divisional round on Sunday. While Sanders was not there a year ago for the AFC title game, he’s very familiar with Arrowhead Stadium.
Formerly a member of the Denver Broncos, Sanders was an AFC West rival of this same environment for years. He discussed the advice he has for his teammates during an appearance on ESPN this week.
It’s one based on confidence building.
“We all we got, we all we need,” Sanders said. “Obviously going into a hostile environment like that, we got to bring our own energy. I know the Chiefs fans are gonna be loud. I know the environment is going to be crazy. Obviously it’s the playoffs. We definitely got to bring our own energy.”
Sanders also discussed the bone-chilling wild-card win his team had over the New England Patriots last weekend and more. For the full segment, see the attached video below:
