In last season’s playoffs, Ben Simmons all but sunk his trade value and his future with the Philadelphia 76ers in a series loss to the Atlanta Hawks. Simmons’ absence has adversely affected the Sixers this season but they are still well above the Hawks in the standings.

At 17-20, Atlanta is struggling and needs to make a change in order to get back in the playoff hunt. According to longtime NBA reporter Marc Stein, the Hawks are emerging as a suitor for Simmons.
