Iowa State’s Breece Hall is turning pro. Raise your hand if you didn’t see that one coming?

When you’re listed as the top running back available in the draft, and you’re a consensus first-team All-American a season after being a unanimous first-teamer — there’s not a lot left to accomplish.

“Playing for Iowa State has been nothing short of a gift, the last three years,” Hall wrote on Instagram Saturday. “This team has defined five-star culture, and I could not be more grateful to be a part of that.

“I want to thank God for blessing me with the ability to play the game that I love so much and for putting me in this position."
