The Golden State Warriors have been one of the most dominant teams in the NBA thus far in the 2021-22 season. They are 18-3, tied for first place atop the Western Conference along with the Phoenix Suns.

The scariest part about the Warriors is that they are likely going to be better in a few weeks. Klay Thompson is nearing a return to the court after missing more than two years of action with a torn ACL suffered in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals and a ruptured Achilles that occurred in November of 2020. James Wiseman is also working his way back from a knee procedure he underwent in April.

Golden State is going to be that much tougher of a team to play against with Thompson and Wiseman in the fold. Now, imagine if the Warriors were able to pull off the blockbuster deal that they had been looking to make throughout the offseason?

Stephen Curry is playing at an MVP level again while Draymond Green is as locked in as ever in his pursuit to prove that he is still the best defensive player in the NBA. Adding another All-Star to the mix in Golden State would be borderline unfair, but what if they did pull it off?
