Four-star point guard Rowan Brumbaugh committed to Northwestern on Monday, he announced on Twitter, giving the Wildcats perhaps their best recruit in program history.

Brumbaugh, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard from Northfield (Mass.) Mount Hermon, is the No. 86 player in the Class of 2022, according to 247Sports' Composite Rating. The previous high national ranking for a Northwestern recruit in 247Sports' database was Pete Nance at No. 88 in the Class of 2018.
