MLB fans wasted no time ripping on the Los Angeles Dodgers following yet another embarrassing postseason elimination.
The Dodgers entered the postseason as one of the prime favorites to win the 2023 World Series, having gone 100-62 in the regular season. But their championship dreams were dashed by the Arizona Diamondbacks, who stunned them in the NLDS with a clean three-game sweep.
Fans on social media poked fun at the Dodgers following yet another disappointing October outing.
Though the Dodgers won the 2020 World Series in the COVID-shortened 60-game season, the fact remains they’ve been gross underachievers for a decade. They’ve made the postseason every year since 2013 and have recorded five 100-win seasons during that period.
And yet, they only have three NL pennants and one World Series championship to show for it. So it’ll be interesting to see if the front office makes any changes following another untimely October exit.
