The Philadelphia 76ers (20-14) visit the Oklahoma City Thunder (15-20) Saturday in a non-conference battle. Tip-off from Paycom Center is set for 8 p.m. ET.
The 76ers are coming off a tough 127-116 loss vs. the Pelicans Friday night that resulted in a 2-game losing streak. C Joel Embiid scored 37 points, but that wasn’t enough to defeat the Pelicans. The 76ers shot worse from 3, turned to ball over more and lost the rebounding battle.
The Thunder are coming off a Thursday night loss to the Hornets by a score of 121-113. That loss came as a result of poor shooting and poor rebounding by the Thunder and the reoccurring theme of the Thunder letting up big quarters. OKC let up a couple 36-point quarters in that loss that sparked the Hornets to pull away with that win.

76ers at Thunder picks and predictions
Prediction
76ers 123, Thunder 113
Moneyline
BET 76ers -175.
This will likely be your best bet for this game. The 76ers are simply a much better team than the Thunder, and while the Thunder have improved, this will be a tough matchup for them. Expect this defensively sound 76ers squad to focus on stopping the Thunder’s main threats and forcing the role players to beat them.
Against the spread
BET 76ers -4.5 (-108).
The 76ers should be able to cover the spread here even as the away team. With G Tyrese Maxey re-entering the lineup, he brings a lot of firepower and energy back to this team’s offense. Embiid and G James Harden have been playing very well together and will look to dominate in this matchup. Feel confident in this bet as the 76ers won’t continue this losing streak.
Over/Under
LEAN OVER 226.5 (-115).
The 76ers have a very solid defense and a very mediocre offense, but the over is safer here because of matchups. The Thunder have a terrible defense and with a team that has as much firepower as the 76ers their defense simply won’t cut it. They have no matchup on defense that is favorable to them and because of that the 76ers should be able to score at will and push this game to the over.
