The Seattle Kraken and the St. Louis Blues meet in NHL action from the Enterprise Center on Wednesday night.

The Seattle Kraken will look to build on a 4-1 win over Dallas last time out. Philipp Grubauer’s seen the majority of Seattle’s action in goal going 15-28-5 with a 3.19 GAA and an .888 save percentage this season.

The St. Louis Blues will try to build on back-to-back wins after a 5-1 win over Arizona last time out. Vladimir Tarasenko has 61 points with 25 goals and 36 assists while Jordan Kyrou has a team-high 62 points with 22 goals and 40 assists. Pavel Buchnevich has 57 points with 24 goals and 33 assists and Ivan Barbashev has 49 points, logging 22 goals. Robert Thomas also has 44 assists and David Perron has 49 points with 23 goals and 26 assists as well this season. Jordan Binnington’s seen the bulk of St. Louis’ action in goal, going 13-13-4 with a 3.14 GAA and an .901 save percentage while Ville Husso is 20-6-5 with a 2.41 GAA and a .923 save percentage this season.

Seattle is 18-40 in their last 58 games overall and 5-17 in their last 22 games following a win while the over is 4-0-2 in their last 6 road games. St. Louis is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall and 17-5 in their last 22 games against the Western Conference while the over is 6-1 in their last 7 games following a win.

I get the case to be made for an underdog in certain spots, but the Kraken are simply counting down the days until the season is over. St. Louis is in the midst of the playoff mix and I think the Blues needing this win against a far lesser team is all I need to back the Blues -1.5 here.
