The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins meet in NHL action from the TD Garden on Tuesday night.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will try to find some consistency after alternating wins and losses in each of their last five games after a 5-2 win over Florida last time out. Auston Matthews leads the Buds in scoring with 83 points including a team-high 48 goals while Mitch Marner has 74 points with 27 goals and 47 assists and John Tavares has 61 points with 22 goals and 39 apples. William Nylander’s also got 59 points with 24 goals and 35 assists. Morgan Rielly also has 45 assists on the year. Jack Campbell’s made the bulk of the starts in goal for Toronto, going 24-9-4 with a 2.65 GAA and a .914 save percentage this season.

The Boston Bruins will look to add to their current four-game win streak after a 6-3 win over the Islanders last time out. David Pastrnak leads the Bruins in scoring with 66 points while Brad Marchand is right behind with 65 points, with Marchand logging 28 goals and a team-high 37 assists while Pastrnak has a team-high 37 goals and 29 assists and Patrice Bergeron has 46 points with 17 goals and 29 assists as well. Taylor Hall and Charlie McAvoy have a combined 69 assists while Matt Grzelcyk’s posting a team-high +19 plus/minus rating as well this season. Linus Ullmark’s posted an 20-9-2 mark with a 2.73 GAA and a .908 save percentage between the pipes for the Bruins while Jeremy Swayman is 19-8-3 with a 2.09 GAA and a .925 save percentage this season.

Toronto is 0-4 in their lat 4 games as a road underdog and 1-4 in their last 5 games as an underdog while the under is 4-1-1 in their last 6 games overall. 4-0 in their last 4 home games and 5-0 in their last 5 games against the Eastern Conference while the under is 5-1-1 in their last 7 games following a win.

I get the case to be made for either side here, but as a Leafs fan, I have to look at the Bruins here. Boston is the team playing better hockey right now and Toronto’s had little luck against the Bruins in the past, especially at the TD Garden. I’ll lean towards the Bruins and the cheap price at home until Toronto shows some signs of consistency.
