The Anaheim Ducks and the Chicago Blackhawks meet in NHL action from the United Center on Tuesday night.

The Anaheim Ducks will look to build on a 3-2 OT win over San Jose in their last game. Troy Terry leads the Ducks in scoring with 49 points including a team-high 28 goals while Trevor Zegras has 42 points with 15 goals and 27 assists. Sonny Milano has 30 points while Ryan Getzlaf has 31 points this season with Getzlaf logging a team-high 28 assists on the year. John Gibson’s seen the bulk of the work in goal for Anaheim and is 17-15-8 with a 2.90 GAA and a .910 save percentage this season.

The Chicago Blackhawks will look to bounce back after a 6-3 loss to Tampa Bay last time out. Patrick Kane leads the Blackhawks with 58 points including 18 goals and 40 assists while Seth Jones has 36 points including 33 assists and Alex DeBrincat also has 49 points with a team-high 32 goals this season. Marc-Andre Fleury’s gone 17-20-4 with a 2.91 GAA and a .908 save percentage in goal for Chicago this year while Kevin Lankinen is 3-6-4 with a 3.57 GAA and an .885 save percentage.

Anaheim is 3-13 in their last 16 games against the Western Conference and 8-1 in their last 9 Tuesday games while the over is 8-1 in their last 9 games as an underdog. Chicago is 2-6 in their last 8 games overall and 2-9 in their last 11 home games while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games overall.

I get the case to be made for Chicago being on home ice, but the Blackhawks haven’t been playing all THAT well and while Anaheim hasn’t been very consistent in their own right, they’re still a solid team playing fairly well and picking up wins more often than Chicago. I’ll side with the value with Anaheim and the plus money here.
