The stage is set for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, and it’s a familiar foe traveling to Raymond James Stadium for Sunday’s postseason matchup.

After a blowout win over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night, the Los Angeles Rams will make the cross-country trip to face the defending Super Bowl champions Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.

The Rams got the better of the Bucs back in Week 3 in Los Angeles, and scored a narrow victory in the regular season last year, just before Tampa Bay went on their eight-game winning streak en route to a Lombardi Trophy.

This matchup brings back memories of Tampa Bay’s first trip to the playoffs back in 1979, when they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round before hosting the Rams in the following round. The Bucs lost that matchup with Los Angeles 9-0, costing them a trip to the Super Bowl.
