As the game’s MVP, Hurts will head to Disney World in Orlando, continuing the famous post-Super Bowl ritual that has delighted fans for decades.

In a commercial filmed shortly after his victory, Hurts enthusiastically declared, “I’m going to Disney World,” joining the ranks of previous Super Bowl MVPs who have taken part in this iconic moment. On the following Monday, he will attend the Main Street USA parade at the theme park.

The tradition began with New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms, who was the first player featured in Disney’s “What’s Next?” commercial after winning Super Bowl XXI in 1987. Following the Giants’ 39-20 win over the Denver Broncos, Simms responded to the iconic question with, “I’m gonna go to Disney World,” marking the start of a long-running association between the Super Bowl and Disney.

Initially, the commercial had Simms repeating the lines multiple times, both for Disneyland and Disney World, due to the rush to air the spot. For his participation, Simms received $50,000, with Disney covering the cost of his family’s trip.
