The New York Giants have brought in a former first-round pick for a free agent visit.
New York had offensive lineman D.J. Humphries in for a visit on Tuesday. The Giants are looking for a replacement for Andrew Thomas, who suffered a season-ending foot injury in Week 6.
Humphries is available because he is recovering from a torn ACL injury suffered in Week 17 last season.
Though Humphries visited with the Giants, a deal between the sides was not expected as of Tuesday.

Humphries was the No. 24 overall pick by the Cardinals out of Florida in 2015. He made the Pro Bowl in 2021 and played in 15 games last season. He served as the Cardinals’ left tackle from from 2017-2023.
Joes Ezeudu and Evan Neal are other linemen the Giants have in consideration to fill Thomas’ shoes, but the team apparently is not satisfied with those options.
