Best bet for NFL Week 17: Minnesota Vikings -1.5 over Green Bay Packers (-110)
As a miniscule -1.5 favorite and playing it home, it indicates that Minnesota is rated as being worse than Green Bay – despite a 2.5-game advantage in the standings with a 13-2 record. I’m not seeing it; especially not with the Packers playing on a short week on the heels of a Monday Night Football assignment in Week 16.
The Vikings have won 8 games in a row following Sunday’s 27-24 road victory over Seattle. They also beat the Packers on the road earlier this season via a 31-29 decision back in Week 4. In 5 of the last 6 outings, Sam Darnold has thrown multiple touchdown passes and zero interceptions. I can’t see Green Bay containing both Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison for 4 quarters, so I have Minnesota winning this one by at least a field goal.
We’ll have NFL Week 17 picks for every game!
