Robert Saleh drew some attention this week for his presence at Green Bay Packers practice. But folks are missing the real story there.

No, the big story isn’t that Saleh is helping the Packers while still being paid by the New York Jets. Rather, the story is just how huge he looked in the photo of him at the practice.

The former Jets head coach looked like a giant in the photo captured and shared by Kyle Malzhan.

Maybe there was something going on with the perception because Saleh was in front of the other guy, but he still looked big.

Saleh was a tight end in college, so he’s no small guy. That photo truly highlighted his size, especially relative to the person next to him.

And now let’s talk about Saleh helping the Packers. He’s being paid the balance of the $5 million he was owed for this season. He was also under contract to make $5 million more next season. This is the same Packers team that traded Aaron Rodgers to the Jets — a deal that hasn’t worked out well for New York. It would be even worse for the Jets if Saleh helped Green Bay win games.
