Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season certainly didn’t disappoint with plenty of thrills and upsets, and Week 2 got started in similar fashion with the Bills dominating the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football. Now, we turn our attention to the mega Sunday slate, with 13 games kicking off at 1:00 pm ET, 4:05 pm ET and 4:25 pm ET. As a result, I’ve combed through all the matchups and have pieced together an NFL parlay that pays at HUGE +1340 odds! Let’s dive in, while you can also find out our expert NFL picks for EVERY Week 2 matchup.
Commanders -6.5 alternate spread (+210)
Rams ML (+102)
Broncos ML (+130)
NFL parlay odds: +1340
Washington Commanders -6.5 alternate spread over New York Giants (+210)
They say the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Last week I picked the Commanders to cover the Buccaneers, and they promptly got blown out. Well, maybe I’m insane, because I’m buying in on Washington once again this week, and this time I’m going for them to win by at least a touchdown at huge +210 odds. For starters, the Commanders were solid on offense last season and look to be in a similar position in 2024 after Jayden Daniels put in a strong showing in his NFL debut. With Daniels, Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler all threats in the ground game, they should be able to run over a Giants defense that gave up 94 yards and a touchdown to Aaron Jones last week.
While Washington clearly still has things to figure out on defense, I have faith that Dan Quinn can get them there. Plus, they added some key pieces to that side of the ball in the offseason, including Bobby Wagner and Clelin Ferrell. I expect them to keep New York’s anemic offense in check after Daniel Jones barely completed 50% of his pass attempts last week while Devin Singletary managed just 37 yards on the ground. I’m taking a shot on the Commanders to win by at least a touchdown, and in all honesty, I can even see them winning by double digits.

LA Rams ML over Arizona Cardinals (+102)
I was surprised to not see the Rams favored in this game, so I’ll happily take them as a small plus-money underdog. The Rams just went into Ford Field and took a talented Lions team to overtime, so I expect them to have little trouble getting past a Cardinals team that is still a work in progress under Jonathan Gannon. Arizona blew a big lead against the Bills and gave up 34 points, and even without Puka Nacua, I can see the Rams delivering a similar effort in this one. Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp proved their chemistry is as hot as ever, with Kupp hauling in 14 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown. While the Cardinals do look better on offense and I expect Marvin Harrison Jr. to feature a lot more in this matchup, the Rams proved against the Lions that they can keep strong offenses in check. I’m taking the Rams to get their first win of the season on the board as my next NFL parlay pick.
Denver Broncos ML over Pittsburgh Steelers (+130)
To wrap up Sunday’s NFL parlay picks, I’m going with another underdog on the money line — this time the Broncos against the Steelers. I’m surprised to see the Steelers favored in this game as much as they are. For starters, they’re not only playing on the road, but they’re doing so at Mile High, where visiting teams often struggle to handle the altitude, particularly early in the season. Second is the fact that they’ll be starting their backup QB under center in Justin Fields with Russell Wilson still unable to go. Pittsburgh doesn’t deserve that much respect, and I don’t think Denver deserves that much disrespect.
Broncos quarterback Bo Nix didn’t look great in his debut, but he still managed to keep things close on the road against a tough Seahawks team and the defense was able to hold Geno Smith to just 171 passing yards while also forcing 2 safeties. I’m expecting a more competent game from Nix now he’s in front of the home crowd, while the Denver defense should play its part in keeping Fields and the Steelers in check. With a close game likely, I’m happy to take a shot on the Broncos as a home ‘dog to wrap up my NFL parlay picks.
