Arizona Should Improve Against Lefties

The Arizona starting lineup has destroyed righties but hasn’t had the same success against lefties.

Still, that figures to change tonight.

Justin Wrobleski will take the hill for the Dodgers. The young lefty has allowed a .556 ISO and wOBA of .448 to his last 20 batters. He’s also given up a .297 ISO and wOBA of .356 to his first 102 batters this year.

Arizona’s Eugenio Suarez and Corbin Carroll should anchor this offense to success.

Brandon Pfaadt Is Doing Some Good Things

The Arizona starter, Brandon Pfaadt, has been unlucky over the last month. He’s added 24.2% of strikeouts and has limited walks to 4%. He’s allowed just a 6.8% barrel percentage to his last 124 batters. Yet, he’s allowed a .181 ISO and wOBA of .358.

But regression will be on his side if he keeps throwing up these numbers. The Dodgers rarely walk, and four guys have struck out at a super high rate against righties over the last 30 days.
