The Mariners will run it back with Luis Castillo to begin the second half of the season. The notable ace has often struggled with lefties this season. He’s allowed a .217 ISO and wOBA of .367 to 223 lefties this year. He’s also added just 17.9% of strikeouts.
Yordan Alvarez, Jon Singleton, and Joey Loperfido are three batters that can battle Castillo and help the Astros hold off the Mariners.
