Patrick Queen had a great response to a former teammate who questioned the linebacker’s decision to switch to a rival team.

Queen was a first-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020 and spent four seasons with them. He was honored with a Pro Bowl nod last season, which came after the team declined to exercise his fifth-year option.

Since he was a free agent this offseason, Queen decided to sign with one of the Ravens’ AFC North rivals — the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey cautioned Queen that the grass isn’t always greener somewhere else.

“I’m not hating on Pittsburgh or hating on PQ. But I’ve been with the Ravens for awhile. I’ve seen this same story go down with a lot of guys. It’s the best place on Earth, this new place, it’s not like the Ravens. Reality sets in eventually. I hope it’s great over there. But you know sometimes, I’m just saying, I’ve seen it once or twice,” Humphrey said, via Steelers Depot.

Queen saw the comments and responded via social media. He shared a video of himself standing outside on a green lawn, holding a glass of what appeared to be wine in his left hand, and a hose watering some green grass with his other hand.

That’s a little bit of sipping his own tea minding his business while also noting how nice the grass is on his side.

Queen got a 3-year, $41 million deal from the Steelers. He seems pretty satisfied with what Pittsburgh has for him.
