San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa on Tuesday shared one difference he sees between Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love.
The 49ers star spoke to reporters about the Green Bay Packers’ recent success ahead of the two teams’ Divisional Round clash on Saturday. Bosa pointed out why he believes that the current iteration of the Packers could potentially be even more dangerous without Rodgers.
“They have a lot of the same guys from the past really good teams they’ve had — and a quarterback who does exactly what he’s coached to do,” said Bosa.
“Aaron Rodgers is a Hall of Famer and unbelievable but he kind of went outside of the realm of coaching. Sometimes, it’s good when you have a guy who does what he’s coached to do.”

Rodgers had immense success in his 15-year run as the Packers’ primary QB. A huge part of that success was Rodgers’ ability to generate highlight plays on the fly when his team needed it.
But with a brilliant offensive coach in Matt LaFleur and a much more malleable QB in Jordan Love, the Packers appear to be headed in the right direction, as Bosa suggested.
The injured Rodgers has certainly had a lot of time to dabble outside the realm of football of late. The New York Jets QB has been mired in controversy for reasons off the field.
