The Colorado Buffaloes got off to a remarkable start to the season but have been hit with some adversity in recent weeks and are now 4-4 after their visit to UCLA on Saturday.
The Buffs were on the losing end of a 28-16 result, with the Bruins doing as expected. But Deion Sanders insisted he was happy with the way his team performed as there were lots of positives despite the number on the scoreboard at the end of the game.
As if suffering a fourth loss wasn’t enough, some of the Colorado players were made to travel back home a bit lighter than they came in as they claimed to have had their jewelry stolen from their locker room at UCLA’s Rose Bowl while the game was going on.

Meanwhile, Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders had a rough outing as he was sacked seven times, with five coming in the first half. The QB made 63 percent of his passes, throwing for 213 yards and one touchdown.
Two-way star Travis Hunter has a great game as he was deployed primarily as a cornerback and had two interceptions.
Colorado will play No. 11 Oregon State next Saturday.
