Week 8 of the 2023 NFL season got started with the Bills getting things back on track as they edged the Buccaneers 24-18. There are still questions being asked about Buffalo after they lost to New England and stuttered against the Giants, but that is the case with a lot of teams this season. Those that looked invincible like the Eagles and 49ers have recently felt defeat and this could be one of the tightest NFL seasons we’ve seen in years. With that in mind, there could therefore be some value with big underdogs and that is a feature in this NFL mega parlay. Make sure you find out our NFL Week 8 picks for every game this week as we look to build on our +28 units of profit, but for now let’s get into this NFL parlay, as we look to follow up our NFL Week 5 mega parlay win at +1457 odds.
Vikings -6.5 alternate spread (+188)
Bengals ML (+170)
Cardinals +9.5 (-110)
NFL Parlay odds: +1381
In this NFL mega parlay, we’re going with one slight favorite on an alternate spread, one underdog on the money line and one dog on the spread. Let’s break down each of the legs as we aim to cash a winner at almost 14/1!
Minnesota Vikings -6.5 over Green Bay Packers (+188)
To get this NFL mega parlay started, we’re taking the Vikings to win on the road by at least a touchdown against NFC North rival Green Bay. Minnesota silenced their critics last Monday with a huge victory over San Francisco, with Kirk Cousins playing some of his best football in a long time, and it feels like this Vikings team finally has life again. It was a rocky start for Minnesota and that only got worse when Justin Jefferson went on IR, but this team still possesses a plethora of talent on both sides of the ball, and with them just 2 wins behind the Lions in the division they certainly won’t be giving up on chasing them down just yet.
As for the Packers, they got out to a solid start but things have quickly derailed recently, looking particularly poor in last week’s defeat to the Broncos. Green Bay has now lost 3 straight, and even before that was lucky to get the better of the Saints. Not since Week 2 have the Packers scored more than 20 points, and given the offensive ability of this Vikings team, I can’t see how Green Bay will be able to keep up with their scoring. I’m taking Minnesota to win big on Sunday.

Cincinnati Bengals ML over San Francisco 49ers (+170)
Next up, we’re going with the Bengals to pull the road upset against the 49ers. All things considered, I’m amazed that Cincinnati is this much of an underdog against San Francisco. Granted, the 49ers had looked superb until Week 6, but rough losses to the Browns and Vikings has certainly raised questions about this team and how good Brock Purdy is. Purdy has actually been ruled out for this game with Sam Darnold set to start under center, and although I don’t think he’s far off Purdy’s ability, he is still certainly a downgrade.
Having a team that is without its starting QB and has lost its last 2 games to mediocre opposition be a 4-point favorite seems pretty crazy to me, and I’m happy to jump on the Bengals. Cincinnati got off to a rough start, but has since won 3 of its last 4 games with Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase starting to cook. This team has been to the last 2 AFC Championship games and I’ve got faith that Zac Taylor can guide this team to delivering San Francisco’s 3rd consecutive loss.
Arizona Cardinals +9.5 over Baltimore Ravens (-110)
To round off this NFL mega parlay, I’m taking the Cardinals on the spread against the Ravens. Despite being 1-6, this Arizona team hasn’t looked nearly as bad as people expected them to be, and has managed to stay competitive in a number of games. They have lost each of their last 3 games by at least 10 points, but all of those were very close at halftime and were nowhere near as dominating as those scores suggest. Now playing at home where they are 2-1 ATS, I believe they can keep things close against the Ravens.
Baltimore just followed up a strong victory over the Titans in London with a vicious performance against the Lions, and public perception of them is incredibly high right now. But this team has still suffered surprising defeats to the Colts and Steelers, and although they should be able to come out of Glendale with the win, I can certainly see Arizona keeping this within single figures.
