Alan Sanchez vs. Angel Beltran

Boxing Odds: Alan Sanchez +137 vs. Angel Beltran -192
Welterweight

Alan Sanchez will bring a terrific 22-5-1 record into the ring. Sanchez is tough. After 2 straight losses, he’s bounced back with decision wins over Jose Miguel Borrego and Saul Bustos.

Angel Beltran, though, is one of the better fighters in the welterweight division. Beltran is 17-1 with 10 stoppage victories. Beltran has won 8 straight since the loss in 2020. The boxing odds make either playable, which is why we’re going with Angel.

Boxing Pick: Angel Beltran

Shadasia Greene vs. Olivia Curry

Boxing Odds: Shadasia Greene -3333 vs. Olivia Curry +808
Super Middleweight

At +808, Olivia Curry is an underlay. The record is okay at 7-1 with 2 technical knockout wins. But it’s a Grand Canyon like chasm between Curry’s last opponent, Olivia Gerula, and Shadasia Greene.

Gerula was 19-19-3 when Curry beat her. Greene is 12-0 with 11 stoppage victories. Look for a knockout prop before landing on Greene’s money line.

Boxing Pick: Shadasia Greene

Ashton Sylve vs. William Silva

Boxing Odds: Ashton Sylve -5000 vs. William Silva +888
Super Lightweight

William Silva has a decent 30-4 record, but Sylve and his camp wouldn’t have taken this bout unless they knew Ashton could win, hence, the -5000 money line odds.

Sylve is 9-0 with 8 stoppage victories. Ashton has boxing skills for days. He should have no trouble winning this before the final bell. So consider going under once oddsmakers set a round total or go for the KO or TKO Sylve victory.

Boxing Pick: Ashton Sylve

Heather Hardy vs. Amanda Serrano

Boxing Odds: Heather Hardy +780 vs. Amanda Serrano -3333
Undisputed Women’s Featherweight Title
Super Lightweight

Serrano and Hardy are legit friends. But just because they’re friends, we shouldn’t expect Amanda to lay off.

Serrano is as good as it gets. She’s got excellent boxing skills. In fact, she might be the best boxer on the entire Paul versus Diaz card.

Hardy will fight tough. Neither of Heather’s losses have happened via stoppage. So if you see over the round total odds, go for it.

Boxing Pick: Amanda Serrano

Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz

Boxing Odds: Jake Paul -454 vs. Nate Diaz +284
Undisputed Women’s Featherweight Title
Super Lightweight

Both these guys bring incredible skill into the boxing ring. The issue with backing Jake is that although he’s the better boxer, Diaz never entered the Octagon during his UFC career without a strategy.

JP wanted this fight at eight rounds. Diaz pushed for the bout to go ten rounds. Nate’s strategy is obvious. He’s smaller and much older than Jake. So what Nate is going to do is stay as close to Jake as possible, use his jiu-jitsu skills to gain angles and wear Diaz down by pushing his body onto Paul’s.

If Jake wants Nate off him, he’s going to have to expend energy to push Diaz. Nate hopes that by doing so, he can catch Jake in the later rounds. Will it work? It might. Or it may not.

Jake offers underlay odds, though. So Diaz is the better play even if you’re not sure Nate’s strategy will work.
