What a wild first two days of NHL free agency.

More than 160 players signed new deals on Saturday, marking a wild start to a busy summer. There weren’t a ton of big contracts signed, but teams looking to snag some value and depth feasted on an open market on July 1.

Of Frank Seravalli’s top 75 free agents available heading into Saturday, just 23 players remain. Dmitry Orlov, J.T. Compher, Ryan Graves, Alex Killorn, Blake Wheeler, Ryan O’Reilly, Matt Duchene and Michael Bunting were the players within the top 10 that swapped teams, while many others throughout the list have their next deals locked up.

On July 2, Tyler Bertuzzi and Evan Rodrigues highlighted the top free agent signings of the day that saw teams taking a value-focused approach. That leaves Vladimir Tarasenko, Patrick Kane and Matt Dumba as the best UFAs still on the market.
