There aren’t many blue-chip recruits who live up to their billing. But Ohio State offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. most certainly did.
The 6-6, 313-pound Johnson came into Ohio State as a five-star recruit, ranking as the nation’s No. 9 overall prospect and No. 1 offensive tackle nationally coming out of Cincinnati Princeton High School.
After three stellar seasons with the Buckeyes, Johnson has now realized his dream of becoming an NFL first-round draft pick. He was just selected by the Arizona Cardinals as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2023 draft. Johnson was on hand in Kansas City as his selection was announced.
