Gary Neville still thinks Man Utd will finish above Arsenal this season after watching the Red Devils win their first trophy of the season.

Erik ten Hag’s side beat Newcastle United 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday as they continue to fight on another three fronts this campaign.

Man Utd face West Ham tonight in the FA Cup, Real Betis in the last 16 of the Europa League and they still have an outside chance of winning the Premier League.

Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League currently with victory over Everton tonight taking them five points clear of Man City, while Man Utd would be 11 points behind.

Despite the Gunners’ impressive season, Neville is still predicting that Man City will win the title and that Man Utd will finish ahead of Arsenal in second place.

Neville told The Overlap: “That’s my inkling earlier in the season, what normally happens is one team gets so close they realise they can’t win it and then they just go like that in the last two or three games.
