Good morning, Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another super Sunday of sports. The #1 seeds lived up to their billing in yesterday’s NFL playoff games as the Chiefs and Eagles punched their tickets to Championship weekend and there are 2 more places available today. We have everything you need to enhance your enjoyment of today’s NFL games, plus the action in the NBA, NHL, college basketball and soccer, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better.
About Last Night
Chiefs and Eagles march on
The favorites won both yesterday’s playoff games, but only the Eagles covered. Backers of the Chiefs on the spread were undone by a late Jaguars field goal that made the final score 27-20 to KC. The Eagles had no worries about a back-door cover as they dominated the Giants in a 38-7 win. The Chiefs are now +280 favorites for the Super Bowl at FanDuel Sportsbook, with the Bills at +310, the Eagles at +330 and the 49ers at +450.
Celtics win 9th straight game
The Celtics won for the 9th successive game, beating the Raptors 106-104 without Jayson Tatum, while the 76ers beat the Kings 129-127 in the late game.
Flames beat the Lightning
The Calgary Flames scored an impressive 6-3 win over the Lightning, while the Blackhawks upset the Blues 5-3 and the Avalanche beat the Kraken 2-1 in a shootout on Saturday’s NHL slate.

We also have soccer picks for today’s 3 EPL games, which include Manchester United vs Arsenal on NBA at 11:30am ET. The Australian Open tennis action continues too, and Ricky Dimon has tennis picks for Day 8 as he bids to hit a 6th straight parlay play!
Best Bet of the Day
NFL: Cincinnati Bengals +5.5 over Buffalo Bills
3:00 pm ET, CBS
Neither team looked particularly impressive last week, but the Bengals have arguably been playing the most consistent football in the NFL over the past couple of months, and they aren’t getting nearly enough respect for a team that’s on a 9-game winning streak. The Bills have played just 2 teams that made the postseason since Week 6. One of those was the Dolphins, whom they beat by 3 points, and they lost to the Vikings at home. This game looks much closer than the spread suggests.
