The Golden State Warriors (6-9) welcome the New York Knicks (8-7) to Chase Center Friday. Tip is set for 10 p.m. ET (ESPN).
The Warriors are coming into this game having failed to cover as 2.5-point road favorites in a 130-119 loss at the Phoenix Suns Wednesday. Golden State had traded off covering and not over its last 7 games.
The Dubs are led by G Stephen Curry, who scored 50 against the Suns in the loss. He is averaging 32.8 points per game and is shooting 53.1% from the field.
The Knicks are coming off a 106-103 win over the Denver Nuggets as 2-point road underdogs Wednesday. The Knicks have covered 2 straight and are 4-5-1 ATS over their last 10 games.
New York is led offensively by F Julius Randle, who is averaging 21.3 points per game. Offseason acquisition G Jalen Brunson is also averaging 20.0 per game for the Knicks.

Moneyline
PASS.
The Dubs have shown flaws this season, but they have been solid at home which makes both of these price tags not great options for bettors.
Against the spread
BET WARRIORS -7.5 (-110).
Golden State has been awful on the road, but it is 4-3 ATS at home. The Warriors are 1-7 ATS on the road.
With the note that they’re trading off covering and not, this is a good bounce-back spot for them. Golden State will be going against a short-handed Knicks frontcourt with Robinson doubtful.
New York gives up the 6th-most points to opposing guards as well, so the combination of Curry and G Klay Thompson should be able to dominate.
The Knicks rank 23rd in effective field goal rate, so the Warriors’ ultra-fast pace could lead to a blowout. Considering it all, I’d back WARRIORS -7.5 (-110).
Over/Under
LEAN OVER 234.5 (-115).
This total is high, but both teams have been hitting the Over at a high rate. New York is 8-7 O/U, and Golden State is 8-5-2 O/U this season. As noted, the Warriors rank No. 1 in the NBA in pace as well.
The Knicks also rank 8th in offensive rebounding rate with the Warriors sitting 24th in defensive rebounding which is a good strength-on-weakness spot for New York.
Ultimately, there shouldn’t be much defense, and with the pace in mind, I would back the OVER 234.5 (-115).
