The Favorites
Jonathan Taylor (IND) -115 +185
There’s a big workload coming for Jonathan Taylor this Sunday. He’s a candidate for 2 TDs and should be the focal point of this Indianapolis offense with Sam Ehlinger. These are great odds considering this man was at -200 last year.
Davante Adams (LVR) -110 +190
Marshon Lattimore looks like he may be out against this week and Davante Adams has 5 TD on the year through 6 games. He battled the flu this week but practiced on Friday. The Jordan brand athlete is preparing for his own flu game against the Saints.
CeeDee Lamb (DAL) +105 +205
We didn’t get the Lamb TD last week in Dak Prescott’s return, but with Zeke Elliott out I’m expecting a pass heavy approach. The Bears have struggled with the deep ball all season and Lamb is one of the better WRs in the league at taking the top off. I love this at plus-money.
The Longshots
Noah Fant (SEA) +320 +420
Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf could both be missing on Sunday, but even if they lose one, tight end Noah Fant will be in for a big role. The Giants defense will likely sell out to stop RB Kenneth Walker, but Fant has the athleticism to dominate the redzone.
Raheem Blackshear (CAR) +320 +420
Chuba Hubbard is out and D’Onta Foreman gets the starting nod. However, interim Panthers HC Steve Wilks stated this week that Blackshear will see an increased workload. They will go with a two-back approach, and this is a great spot for Blackshear to get his first career TD.
Malik Willis (TEN) +350 +450
Malik Willis was taking first-team reps this week at practice and the Texans would be a great opportunity for him to get his first start. We’ve seen what he can do in the preseason and know he can be electric with his legs. Derrick Henry will command a lot of attention from the Houston defense, but if the play breaks down, Willis can run one in from anywhere on the field.
The REAL Longshots
Van Jefferson (LAR) +470 +570
The Rams need VJ back desperately and for good reason. He can take the top off of opposing defenses, which they’ve been lacking all season. The Rams waited until the bye week to get VJ back and should not see any restrictions. These odds are a steal with a full workload from Jefferson.
Danny Gray (SF) +500 +600
Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings are both out this Sunday along with Kyle Juszczyk. Danny Gray will get an opportunity to be a part of this offense on Sunday and his speed is something the team loves talking about. We’ve seen how 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan can get WRs involved in the running game so he’s a threat whenever he touches the ball. Sign me up.
PJ Walker (CAR) +900 +1000
Question marks at RB for the Panthers leaves me optimistic that QB PJ Walker might get 1-2 red-zone carries. It helps that Atlanta gives up a red-zone TD 60% of the time.
