The Dodgers are a dangerous team to bet on because they have nothing to play for as they long ago clinched home-field advantage.

The Dodgers are huge favorites again and I don’t think this one will be as interesting as Saturday’s. Marquez has given up 4 ER in the last 3 starts against the Dodgers and 4 of 5.

It’s only a LEAN because the Dodgers’ bats didn’t wake up until late Saturday but take the DODGERS OVER 2.5 RUNS FIRST 5 INNINGS (-127).

Run line/Against the spread

I don’t advise taking -2.5 RLs in general even though I think this one cashes. The Dodgers have scored at least 5 runs in 4 of 5 against Colorado at home.

We’ll go back to the well and take DODGERS OVER 4.5 TOTAL RUNS (-140).

Over/Under

This is a curiously low total with the wind blowing out at 7 mph to the right-center. Anderson has been dealing and the Rockies have struggled to score lately. The first 2 games of this series have gone over 10.

Even if L.A. has to score 6 I think this one sneaks Over. Take the OVER 7.5 (-130) for a HALF-UNIT.
