The Detroit Tigers will look to pick up back-to-back wins after their triumph over KC on Friday. Going into Friday’s game, Jonathan Schoop has 9 home runs while Javier Baez has 11 homers, with Schoop logging 20 doubles and 34 RBIs. Kansas City is 21-43 in their last 64 road games and 5-11 in their last 16 games overall while the under is 8-3 in their last 11 games against a team with a winning percentage below .400. Detroit is 14-34 in their last 48 games overall and 1-4 in their last 5 home games while the over is 3-0-1 in their last 4 games against a team with a right-handed starter.
I’m not going near a side here as Jonathan Heasley’s been a dumpster fire for much of the season while Detroit’s offense is so sporadic that it’s hard to trust this team on a game-to-game basis. Instead, I’m going to side with the over here as I’m expecting Heasley to give up a few and for Kansas City to get to Pineda and if the starters don’t get us there, the Bullpens surely will. Give me the over here.
