Yordan Alvarez has a team-high 31 home runs and 76 RBIs and Kyle Tucker has 21 home runs and 77 RBIs as well this season. Jeremy Pena also has a .247 batting average with 15 home runs and 41 RBIs of his own this season. Jose Altuve also has 106 hits with 26 doubles, 20 homers and 42 RBIs. Luis Garcia will start here and is 9-8 with a 4.03 ERA and 123 strikeouts this season.

The Chicago White Sox will look to rebound and win the series after Wednesday’s loss snapped their win streak. Jose Abreu has 14 home runs, along with 56 RBIs, 137 hits and 28 doubles while Luis Robert has a .301 batting average with 101 hits, 12 home runs and 56 RBIs and Andrew Vaughn has 58 RBIs, a .296 batting average and 22 doubles this season. A.J. Pollock’s also added 39 RBIs and 20 doubles on the year for Chicago while Tim Anderson has 100 hits and a .301 batting average. Lucas Giolito will start here and is 9-6 with a 4.92 ERA and 127 strikeouts this season.

Houston is 90-43 in their last 133 games against the AL Central and 1-4 in their last 5 road games while the under is 9-1-1 in their last 11 game four matchups. Chicago is 7-1 in their last 8 home games and 6-1 in their last 7 game four matchups while the over is 8-3-1 in their last 12 Thursday games.

I get the case that you could make for either side here, but I’m looking at the over. Lucas Giolito already had issues with Houston in a start earlier this season and while Garcia’s a solid arm for the Astros, he always seems to get himself in more trouble than he should and rarely escapes unscathed. I think this is a spot where we get a lot of offense and the game ends up going over the number.
