Star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is recovering from a torn ACL, suffered in the Super Bowl and remains one of the top free agents remaining as of last week. He will likely be out until November, so the team getting him would be looking at a boost to their roster for the second half of the season.
Beckham started his career with the New York Giants, putting up three straight seasons with at least 1,300 receiving yards. He missed most of the 2017 season after suffering a broken ankle and returned to post back-to-back seasons with more than 1,000 yards in 2018 and 2019, the latter of which was his first season with the Cleveland Browns. In the seventh game of the 2020 season, Beckham suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, and he started slowly with the Browns last season before getting traded to the Rams.
Including playoffs, Beckham Jr. played 12 games for the Rams and recorded 48 catches for 593 yards and seven touchdowns. His most productive effort was in the NFC Championship game, when he caught nine passes for 113 yards on 11 targets. Before he was injured in the Super Bowl, Beckham caught a 17-yard touchdown in the first quarter and added a 35-yard reception in the second quarter. He looked like he was an impact player on the biggest possible stage.
Here are the latest odds for Odell Beckham Jr.’s next team from DraftKings.
Los Angeles Rams
After winning a Super Bowl with the Rams, Beckham Jr. has a strong connection to the team, and he dropped in on head coach Sean McVay’s wedding. The Rams already have Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson at wide receiver. Does Beckham want to be No. 3 on that depth chart?
