The Los Angeles Rams boast one of the best rosters in the NFL that features quite a few All-Pro talents. With training camps on the horizon, PFF’s Sam Monson ranked the top 50 players in the NFL, and the Rams had three players listed in the top 14.
The first player from the Rams to make the list is none other than Aaron Donald, who Monson had ranked as the best player in the NFL. Donald has cemented himself as one of the best defensive players in NFL history since entering the league in 2014, accruing seven All-Pro nods and three Defensive Player of the Year awards.
Just to show how dominant he’s been, Donald was recently given a 99 overall rating in “Madden NFL 23”, becoming the first player to ever earn the honor of being a 99 overall player six years in a row.
After Donald, Cooper Kupp is considered the 13th best player in the NFL by Monson. Kupp put together one of the best seasons by a wide receiver in league history in 2021, totaling 145 receptions, 1,947 receiving yards, and 16 receiving touchdowns.
Jalen Ramsey was ranked just behind Kupp at No. 14 after putting together another impressive campaign a season ago. The three-time All-Pro, who played with multiple shoulder injuries in 2021, recorded a career-best 77 tackles, 16 pass breakups, and four interceptions last season.
While you could argue that the Rams have more than three players in the top 50 players in the NFL, at least Donald, Kupp, and Ramsey are getting the respect they deserve.
