The Rams dramatically improved their linebacker unit this offseason by signing Bobby Wagner as a free agent. They went front mostly ignoring the position two years ago to suddenly sinking valuable assets into it by signing Wagner and drafting Ernest Jones last year.
Wagner is one of the best linebackers in the NFL and his rating in the upcoming “Madden NFL 23” video game reflects that. EA Sports revealed that Wagner has a 91 overall rating, making him the fourth-best middle linebacker in the game. He’s behind only Fred Warner (94), Demario Davis (93) and Lavonte David (92).

Jones has a lower rating at 73 overall, which doesn’t crack the top 30 at his position, but that was to be expected considering he’s only entering his second NFL season.
Elsewhere, EA also revealed ratings for the game’s edge rushers. That includes Leonard Floyd, who has an 80 overall rating to lead the Rams’ outside linebackers. Justin Hollins is second at 72 overall, with Terrell Lewis coming in at 69 overall.
