Tampa has been a different team at home, and it is very stingy on the score sheet. At the same time, it hasn’t played anyone as good as Colorado. The Lightning will have to keep the Avalanche to 3 goals or fewer, maybe 2, in order to prevail in this one.

I could see a 3-2 finish, but this one gives wiggle room for a 4-2 final. It’s chalky, but this is the only way Tampa makes it a series.

This one will be close because I could see Tampa needing overtime to get the win. The Lightning can get past Avs G Darcy Kuemper. They nailed 3 goals in the first 2 periods of Game 1. Back on home ice and away from the altitude in Denver, the 2-time defending champs find their game.
