Austin Riley has 62 hits with 13 doubles, 16 home runs and 35 RBIs and Ozzie Albies has 8 home runs and 33 RBIs and Dansby Swanson also has 32 RBIs of his own as well as a .290 batting average and 64 hits this season. Ian Anderson will start here and is 5-3 with a 4.53 ERA and 50 strikeouts this season.

The Washington Nationals will try to bounce back after a 4-1 loss to Milwaukee in their series finale last time out. Cesar Hernandez has 69 hits with 14 doubles while Josh Bell also has 67 hits, 10 doubles and 37 RBIs with a .302 batting average. Maikel Franco also has 61 hits and 15 doubles of his own while Juan Soto has 12 doubles with a team-high 13 home runs. Keibert Ruiz also has 12 doubles and Nelson Cruz has 35 RBIs as well this season. Josiah Gray will start here and is 6-4 with a 4.33 ERA and 69 strikeouts this season.

Atlanta is 13-3 in their last 16 games overall and 5-0 in their last 5 road games while the over is 3-1-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage below .400. Washington is 17-39 in their last 56 home games and 37-84 in their last 121 games as an underdog while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 Monday games.

I get the case to be made for Washington as a home dog, as the Nats have Josiah Gray going here and Gray’s been their best shot at a win for a while now. However, the Braves are white hot right now and Gray’s been far worse at home than on the road oddly enough. I think this is just a spot where the Braves are the hotter team and take advantage so give me Atlanta in this one.
